If you ask me to name the greatest influence of a fashion icon, I’d definitely favor the charming Audrey Hepburn. Her style and timelessness are now reflected in the thousands of women’s closets. She reminds us all that less is more, good etiquette will never go out of style and a good heart is irreplaceable.

Audrey’s as a fashion icon’s career began in the famous designer Hubert de Givenchy showroom when he had to dress the petite woman for her film Sabrina. Since then, Audrey wore only Givenchy in all her films.

Here is a look at a few of the lessons we can take away from such a stunning and unforgettable woman.

Less is More

Be Compassionate

Ankle Pans and Flats Good Posture

Scarves and Sunglasses

A Classic Trench

Go Nautical

Boatneck

Rock A Pixie Cut

Can’t Go Wrong With Black When you’re beautiful and strong on the inside, it doesn’t take much to share your beauty with the outer world. The key is to believe that you do indeed possess such qualities. Thinking of others, speaking a kind word, subtly playing up your body’s strengths, we all could be reminded of such elegant simplicity from a very classy lady. Thank you Audrey.

Any Audrey’s rules of style you’d like to apply for yourself? Or maybe you already are. Please share.
