First of all: Thank You. ALL OF YOU for your words, for your good wishes for your thoughts, for your being there yesterday and today and maybe tomorrow. You are absolutely the best readers one could only wish for.
Now, I confess I’ve eaten the most delicious food yesterday. It was my birthday, after all. Hehehe! There’s some treats that made the camera.
Breakfast:
Followed by:
Light lunch:
Snack:
I’m hosting a little party on Saturday, so yesterday we had dinner at home just for two. My boyfriend has spoiled me with:
Submitted to Jen’s Peas & Crayons.
OK, that was yesterday. Now it’s time for a new adventure, new dream and treat.
Some yawning, tired eyes and bare feet at the door with the shoes in my hand. Coffee – so hot it hurts to swallow. The ice beneath my heels. And maybe the snow. A race after the day’s work when you only wish to unplug everything, and not just your feet from the ground, and to rest the body as well as mind. The smell of new things.
Hopefully the sun is shining wherever you are so that you can wrap up Wednesday on a wonderful note.
Love you all, Greta

The sun is actually shining – finally after way to many rainy days it snowed again here in Germany and the sun came out.
Your birthday treats are all extremely tempting. Do you mind if I borrow your boyfriend to teach mine how to cook 😉 ?
Greta said:
Ah, you are so close to me – Germany is awesome!
My bf is the hell of the cook, it’s sad that he does the cooking so rarely. 😦 But if you visit, I bet he’d treat you well here 😉

Happy Birthday wishes. You ate some amazing things. Like that cake. Macaroons. I think those baby shrimp though are calling my name. Sounds perfect with avocado.
Greta said:
Oh, I love that king size shrimp, but sometimes the baby one is good too, especially (as you’ve said) with avocado 😉

Beautiful food, and I am so happy you had a lovely birthday!
I was smiling at Missy’s comment about asparagamus – thinking, if all of us got together and had a little ‘bring a plate’ party of our favourite food, or one that summed us up… imagine what the meal would be like!!! Interesting! I know there would be a LOT of asparagamus and seafood – and I for one would enjoy that a lot. As for myself.. it would be pumpkin or cabbage if it was what I eat most – not very exciting! xx
Greta said:
Oh, come on I’ll eat your pumpkin/cabbage meal, until there will be some wine – I’m cool 😉
I dream of the party like that. And I don’t care if I’d be silent all the time – just wish to hug you, girls, for real!!!

And I want to try every one of those things. 😉
Greta said:
I would share every bit of those with you… well, maybe except macaroons – they were gone within seconds 😀
